Join me in the art-life continuum.

This website allows me to share my passion for art. I continue a thrilling journey that began with childhood visits to the Chicago Art Institute, ran through a long museum career, and now focuses on teaching, writing, and making my own art.

My museum work spanned 35 years:
- I worked nearly 15 years at Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center and left my position as head of communications in 2016.
- During 15 years at the de Saisset Museum, I was in charge of public relations and managed the collection of 9,000 works.
- I started at the San Jose Museum of Art as a work-study employee and had three positions over six years.

Highlights of my early teaching experience:
- As a teenager, I developed activities one summer for a boy who could not walk
- In the 1960s, I led arts and crafts sessions for the City of San Jose Parks and Rec Department
- I taught at the University of Colorado and the Jewish Community Center in Denver in the 1970s
- I initiated and organized the first "Art and the Spirit" workshop at Ben Lomond Quaker Center, and I taught there,  That was in 1983, and it became an annual event, continuing for a decade.

I have organized exhibitions and art events. I occasionally write about art for RegardingArts.com and Bay Area online and print publication The Daily.
My love of art and belief in the innate creativity in everyone inform my teaching.  See the art I made while working for Georgia O'Keeffe and responding to New Mexico.
